Terms and Conditions
We kindly and respectfully ask that you take the necessary time to thoroughly and carefully read through and review our complete and full terms and conditions in detail, ensuring you fully understand them, before proceeding with your important decision to make a booking with us.
1. Introduction
-These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") outline the agreement governing the rental of goods and services offered by Delightful Displays.
By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Booking and Payment
- A booking is only confirmed once a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total hire price has been received and you receive a written confirmation from us.
- The remaining balance must be paid in full on delivery of your booking.
- Prices are as listed on our website and are subject to change without notice.
3. Hire Period
- The hire period will be specified at the time of booking.
- Additional hours beyond the agreed-upon hire period will be charged at a surcharge of 50% of the agreed hire cost per extra hour.
- Items must be returned in the agreed condition and within the agreed timeframe.
4. Delivery, Setup, and Collection
- Delivery, setup, and collection times will be scheduled in advance.
- It is your responsibility to provide access to the venue for setup and collection.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by access issues or circumstances beyond our control.
5. Use of Hired Items
- Items are provided for your use only and must be used responsibly.
- You are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of hired items during the hire period.
- If any of our goods are returned damaged, you agree to pay the full cost of repair or replacement.
6. Backdrop and Marquee Hire Specifics
- The agreed hire price for backdrops and marquees does not include additional charges unless specified.
- Backdrop dry hire costs are charged per hour (if applicable).
- Marquee hire includes the marquee. Chairs, tables and flooring at an additional cost .
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit of 10%.
- Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the event will receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event.
7. Dietary, Allergies, and Custom Orders
- For grazing boards and fruit platters, dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, meat) must be specified at the time of booking.
- All our booking forms include allergy checkboxes. It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
- Custom menus are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
8. Cancellation and Refunds
- Cancellations more than 14 days prior to the event will receive a full refund minus the 10% non-refundable deposit.
- Cancellations between 7 and 14 days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations within 7 days but more than 48 hours prior will receive a 25% refund.
- No refunds will be available for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event.
9. Liability and Insurance
- We accept no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of our hire items or services.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that the venue is suitable and safe for the hire items.
10. Data Protection
- We will process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately.
